Lismore Skatepark

If you want to go big, then Lismore is the place to do it. The Vert Ramp at Lismore Skatepark is huge and not for the faint hearted. There’s also a bunch of other elements around the park you can shred as well.

Lismore Skatepark Elements

The first thing you see is two big ramps. One is the 12 foot vert ramp. It’s steel, 16 feet wide with around 1 1/2 foot of vert. Next to that is the 8 foot half pipe. It’s also 16 feet wide with metal coping. There’s stairs heading up to the decks.

Heading down from one end is a stepped out series of stairs with a long hand rail and a flat bank. The flatland here is bitumen and so are some of the banks. A bitumen bank runs down the side of the stairs and corners into a 5 foot quarter pipe with a grind rail coping. Next to that is a 3 foot hipped concrete bank which then turns and tapers off.

A long curved bitumen bank runs across the back corner before joining with another to form a 3 foot concrete spine ramp. A bitumen bank then meets up on the other side and makes its way around a long curve. Joining back into a concrete bank, it then hips around into a 3 foot quarter pipe. This is a wide ramp with a 5 foot extension in the centre. A flat bank runs down the other side.

On the flatland there’s a standalone pyramid and a flat rail

What’s Around

Parking is by the road side or in the car park next door. There is a few seats scattered around the skate park as well as a few under a shelter where you can see all the action. On the other side of the road there is a big park with water, amenities, playground and more.
