At 340 Zillmere Rd, next to PCYC, is Zillmere Skatepark which you wouldn’t know existed unless you were looking for it. It’s further back beyond the PCYC carpark.
Zillmere Skatepark Features
As the pictures will show you its not a large sized park. For what it lacks in size, it does make up for that with including some common and popular obstacles. As you approach the park there is shorter (almost 2 foot) bank. In the far corner there is a curved ledge at about the same height. In the centre of the park is a quarter spine with double metal coping, a rail spanning almost 3 metres, and couple of mixed height ledges. To the far right it ends of with a steep transition quarter which is a lot of fun. Try stalling on the top, there’s no platform! It’s a curved slab of concrete basically. You could get some decent air off it or use it for speed to come back for a transfer over the spine. There’s enough here to keep you interested for a while, but it’s not somewhere you’d spend all day.
