Bellbowrie Skatepark is in Brisbane’s south west near Jindalee. It doesn’t seem to be very widely known but its a hidden gem. It’s located at Booker Park in Bellbowrie next to the Sports and Recreation Club. The bus is the best option if you’re not travelling by car as there’s no train station in sight.
Bellbowrie Skatepark Features
This is a decent sized park with a continuous 4-5 foot quarter circling all around the perimeter in a clover shape. This finishes with a bank at the far end. The quarters are fairly smooth, there are some signs of wear but overall quite good. The bitumen flat is rougher as you might expect though.
Since it’s a large area you have a lot of flat in the middle to get speed up and approach the centre funbox. It would have been nice to have a rail or ledge on the funbox. If you want to grind rails there at least is one and a ledge in a small street section as you enter the park.
