The Runaway Bay Bowl is a little known spot that is far less popular than the larger skate park up the road. It’s hidden from the road by a grassy hill and only visible by walking or riding near it.
Runaway Bowl Elements
This is a 3 sided curved concrete bowl with metal coping. It stands around 5 foot high. The bowl tapers down to the flatland without coping. A concrete slab added to the front. The platforms are around 2m wide and then runs off to grass.
What’s Around
The bowl is located in front of the library. Parking is available in the library car park or on one of the side streets. The Runaway Bay Shopping Centre is directly across the road. This means plenty of shops. You can also catch buses from the shopping centre bus station.
