Capalaba Skatepark Highlights

This place is good fun. This a straight line of ledges and small stairs that greets you at the entrance of the park. The standout of course is the large bowl about six foot high, and it has three main sections. The concrete transitions are painted blue and they ride really smooth. On the right side bowl section there’s a vert wall that adds another six foot out of the bowl. Good for scooters and bmx for hand or foot plants. On the other bowl sections there’s the black painted ledges right up against the coping. Around the bowl on two sides are three concrete ledges over a foot high each. Footjams or Icepick stalls come to mind and also good boosting back into the bowl at speed.

You’ll see there’s plenty of night lights down along the street area. Also ample lighting above the bowl. You can catch some shade over on the oval side of the park. There’s a good sized covered seating area. Toilets and water taps on hand too.
