Cannon Hill Skatepark is on the border of the two suburbs Murarrie and Cannon Hill. The skate park is in the Murarrie Recreation Reserve off Wynnum Road.
Cannon Hill Skatepark Features
The park recently had an upgrade, which looks almost certainly like a convic design. Same two tone grey and earthy red colours throughout. The original layout of the park has pretty much been preserved. Well almost exactly the same really, save for some improved features. The halfpipe which was about 4 foot is vastly improved on. It now forms a rectangular bowl, and also a small volcano added in. On the back side of it, the bank and quarter are still there too. Opposite them the old small curved bank got a facelift too. It’s now a series of three flat banks with a grind box on the top. In the back corner of the park the bank is still there, but now with two angles like a half pyramid. That leads out to the flatground that features an angled grind box and flat rail.
