Tamborine Village Skatepark is a small concrete street style setup. It is down the hill in a roadside park and not easy to spot from the road.
Tamborine Village Skatepark Elements
The skate park is rectangular in shape and starts with a large bank for speed on one side. The bank is full width and stands around 4 foot. In the middle there is a 2 foot half pyramid with a flat down rail. It runs full width with the hips down on one side. On the opposite side of the park there’s a large flat concrete pad. It has 4 foot banks on each side running down to the flatland. In the centre there’s a 7 stair drop. On one side of the stairs there’s a hubba with rounded metal coping both sides. The other has a low down rail.
What’s Around
Above the skatepark is a picnic shelter with seating. It has a bbq. Up top near the car park there’s amenities. The Bearded Dragon Hotel is on the corner nearby. It’s iconic and easily spotted with the large windmill. Being located where it is there isn’t much around that you can ride to.
If you’re heading to the Gold Coast you can also try the Tamborine Mountain Skate Park. It’s just off main st at the top of the mountain.
