St Helens Park Skatepark

St Helens Park Skatepark is a fairly new and fun setup for scooter riders. It is done with a modern style and fast smooth concrete.

St Helens Park Skatepark Elements

The layout is triangular in shape with a lot of smaller style elements on offer. On one side there’s a combo ledge and manual pad box as well as a flat rail. There’s also banks and ledges running down the opposite side. This leads to a circular bowl around 3 foot in height with metal coping. On one side there’s a bank kicker and in the middle a rounded kicker leading to a cutoff volcano in the centre. There’s a standalone quarter pipe with an extension opposite in the corner.

Heading down another arm of the traingle there’s a dual kicker. This leads to a hubba and flat bank. In the cirner there’s a low curved quarter pipe with a wall ride extension. In the middle there’s a small rounded volcano.

The other arm has dual banks, one with a euro gap. The top one has a wedge hubba, wedge rail and an even larger wedge wall. The lower one has the euro gap on one side, down rail in the middle and a flat bank the other side. The top corner has an outwards curved bank.

What’s Around

The skate park has lights so it’s great for a night session. Buses stop close by to St Helens Park and there is shops just up the road. Street parking is available.
