Walloon Skatepark

This is not what you’d expect from a skate park, but sure enough the Bicentennial signs say it is. The Walloon Skatpark is one for the little kids just starting out riding scooters.

Walloon Skate Park Elements

There are a lot of tracks throughout the park, especially the section classed as a skate park. Along the concrete path there’s a kicker, a few rollovers and a large mound. There’s also a concrete circle flatland. Up the top of the tracks there is a small bowl. It’s semi circle in shape and has no coping. At its highest point its 2 1/2 feet and it tapers off towards the ground.

What’s Around

If you’re a bigger and more extreme you may want to try out a dirt scooter on the BMX track. It’s has a lot bigger jumps and obstacles than the skate park. There is off street parking on site and it’s easy to find. There is a lot in the wider park with playgrounds, amenities, BBQs, seats and shelters. There’s also basketball courts, netball, water and CCTV.
