Springbrook Skatepark

Tucked away behind the Community Hall is where you’ll find the Springbrook Skatepark. It’s an older style concrete park with tight transitions and a mix of street.

Springbrook Skatepark Elements

A large bank with a rounded top turns around 2 sides at Springbrook. It tapers off down to the flat on one side and is about 5 foot at its peak. In the corner there’s a small quarter with metal coping popping out. On the flat there’s a ledge with rounded metal coping both sides. A wide 2 foot pyramid is in the middle of the flat. Also on the flat is a fun box. It is made up of a 1 foot 3 sided pyramid, steep bank to platform and stairs, as well as a tabletop launch pad. Both the launch pad and bank platform have rounded metal coping down the side.

A large 3 sided steep pyramid standing around 4 foot is on one side of the skate park. It has a hand rail running the length of it. On one side is has a transition with metal coping. In the opposite corner creating a halfpipe there’s a 2 sided quarter pipe with platform. It’s 3ft high and the sides join at a hip. In the other corner there’s a skinny tight quarter joining onto a corner bank. This leads into the smallest of all micro ramps.

What’s Around

There’s a few chairs and shade at Springbrook Skatepark. There’s a basketball hop and tennis court, as well as amenities. Nearest shops are a fair way back up the road, but if you’re out this way you should be in a car anyways. There’s not much parking but that shouldn’t be an issue here.
