Rosewood Skatepark

This is a good sized skate park considering the location. The Rosewood Skatepark has a lot to offer with plenty of hips, banks and transitions.

Rosewood Skatepark Elements

The park starts off with a large deck and kicked banks. Down below you’ve got an steeple shaped fun box with a triangle spine, flat down rail, small kicker and ledge. There’s also a half pyramid wedge ramp. Further along the flatland there’s an all metal grind box.

Down most of one side there’s a series of ramps and banks, These range from 3 to 4 foot. One bank has a euro gap. There’s a hip our around the corner, and a large curved quarter pipe section with metal coping. Up on the deck there’s a hubba and rail heading down stairs to the flat. Over on the other end the curved quarter joins onto a large flat bank creating a hip.

The flat bank corners into a 4 foot half pipe with metal coping. Again the other side corners into a large flat bank. Both have coping running down to the ground so it hips out both sides. The outer flat bank leads towards a bank and quarter pipe, the quarter having metal coping that travels down the hip to the ground. The other side has a 3-4 foot quarter pipe launch to a dual flat bank so you can transfer to the side or head straight.

There’s a fair bit of flat land here as well and the elements are spaced out.

The skate park has lights, but not sure what time they switch off.

What’s Around

The Rosewood Skatepark is way down the back of the field. There’s a car park at the top. It is surrounded by seats and shelters, a BBQ, exercise equipment and a playground. A dog park is at the back near the skatepark.
