Palm Beach Skatepark

The ramp at Palmy has been around for many years. The Palm Beach Skatepark is a standalone concrete half pipe hidden away down the side of a soccer field.

Palm Beach SkatepPark Elements

Palm Beach is a 6 foot concrete half pipe that was built last millennium. It was resurfaced making for a smooth ride. The coping is concrete and runs full length on one side. The other side has a rollin in the middle. The platforms are fairly large and run off onto a grass hill both sides. It’s a fairly wide ramp and has about 8 foot of flat between transitions.

What’s Around

The halfpipe is hard to find and well off the road. The entry is off Melaleuca Drive/Abelia St in Palm Beach. There’s a lane that runs down to the soccer fields and you’ll need to follow that. The ramp is built into a grass hill making it hidden from a distance. You have to be pretty much right on top of it to see it. There is parking next to the ramp and amenities. If you’re on foot you can also access it from Nineteenth Ave. There are shops and buses a short ride away if you’re not travelling by car.
