Jacobs Well Skatepark

A few small prefab metal ramps on a concrete slab make up Jacobs Well Skatepark. It is setup with a street design of banks and quarters leading into a combo box and rails.

Note: Jacobs Well Skatepark and been upgraded since the original information and photos went live. It is now a concrete park with a range of elements including spines, banks and a bowl.

Jacobs Well Skatepark Elements

The flatland is a rectangular slab. To one side there is a wide quarter. The sides have metal coping whilst the centre has a 1 foot roll in extension. In the centre of the park there is a combo box. On one side there’s a low wedge ramp. The centre has a 3 foot table top, and the other side a 3 foot rollover. To the sides there’s a rainbow rail and a flat rail. On the other side of the skatepark there’s a flat bank. A large part of it is around 2 foot and the end 3 foot. On top of the banks there’s a micro ramp. It’s about 1 foot both sides.

What’s Around

The skate park is part of a larger park. There’s a few BMX jumps, tennis courts, open space and a playground. A couple of picnic tables are near the ramps and a basketball court alongside. There’s also amenities and a car park. The nearest shops are a short roll away. As Jacobs Well is a small seaside town there’s not much in the way of public transport heading out here regularly.
