Coorparoo Skatepark

On the inner east side of Brisbane is Coorparoo Skatepark. It’s in a park called the Common Park off Cambridge Street in Coorparoo. This is a really good spot in Brisbane with a lot of street obstacles and a nice metal half pipe. Easy enough get to with Coorparoo Train Station just down the road.

Coorparoo Skatepark best features

There’s plenty of street obstacles at this park, but you can’t go past the metal half pipe. This beast is nice and wide 16-20 foot with its well worn light blue paint. Check out the cool graffiti on it (and elsewhere in the park). It rides pretty smooth and with the two split heights its a lot of fun mixing up tricks. The main street section closest to the street is a lot of fun. There are two large banks either end with an awesome large funbox in the middle. There’s the ledges either side great for grinds and stalls and another ledge in the middle. Try out the flat and sloped rail also the middle of the funbox, a good challenge there.

Around the perimeter are also some long ledges and one right angle ledge with an inside curve. Good for getting your stalls and grinds down. Didn’t spot any street lights there. Good sized picnic table to provide shade. Unfortunately couldn’t see public toilets at this place. Well worth the visit you’ll have plenty to work with here.
