Carole Park Skatepark

There isn’t much at Carole Park Skatepark, but the locals make the most of it. Their own extensions make flyouts possible and it’s easy to grab the speed.

Carole Park Skatepark Elements

The top of the park starts with a curved bank. It does have a slight transition in one spot, has coping all round, and stands around 3 foot. Down from this is a Kicker Ledge and on the opposite side a straight ledge. This leads to a bank with hubbas either side and a flat down rail in the middle. At the base of the skate park there’s a curved quarter pipe with coping. It has a small deck, but the locals have extended onto the grass hill on the other side. A large bit of thick rubber makes for a runoff ramp so you can do flyouts off the quarter.

What’s Around

This is part of a much larger park with sporting fields. Parking is available off street in the club. If you’re riding there it’s right next to the traffic lights. If you’re driving you’ll need to go down the road a bit to find the entry. There are a few seats and shelters around where you can watch the action. There’s a playground in the park and a swimming pool across the road. Taps are available and the amenities are open sometimes.
