Bundamba Skatepark

This is a good sized park with some smooth lines and fun elements. Bundamba Skatepark is spaced out and has lots of small to medium sized obstacles with nothing overly large.

Bundamba Skatepark Elements

When you first enter the park you’re met with a wide 3 foot quarter pipe with metal coping. This has a very mild transition and and hips out to flat banks. On the left there’s a kinked quarter pipe with a wide deck. It stands around 4 foot with metal coping. This continues around the corner and hips into one side of a half pipe. The other side is formed as part of a pyramid with a 4 foot transition leading to 5 foot banks.

In the centre you’ll find a wide rectangular pyramid with a flat down rail in the middle. To one side there’s a diamond banks, on the other a little kicker pad with a coping ledge to one side.

Down the back of the skate park is the bowl. It is three sided, 4 foot high, and square with rounded corners. The opening has a rollover and side hips. Both side flare out into quarter pipes, one small and tapers off to the ground. The other with hips.

There is a lot of flatland around Bundamba and space between elements.

What’s Around

This is an enclosed park with its own seats to watch the action. Thee are lights but not sure how much of the park this would light up. There’s also a playground inside the fence line. There are a few car parks available if you turn into the street next to the aquatic centre. Buses stop just up the road and shops are within riding distance.
