Scooter Associations

Governing bodies for Pro and Freestyle Scooters in Australia and around the world. If you want to compete in scooter competitions, this is where it’s at. The comps and events organised by scooter associations can lead you to state, national and world titles.

The associations are about more than just competitions. They work hard developing the sport as a whole. From grass roots through to pros, everyone is catered for. They promote the industry and look out for all riders as well as the broader industry. Here you’ll find information about upcoming events. There’s also standards and guidelines. International Scooter Association

The International Scooter Association or ISA for short was formed in 2011. It is a not for profit organisation that is made up of all parties involved in scooter riding. This includes manufacturers, media, retailers, skateparks and riders. The goal is to develop the sport from grassroots through to pro levels.

They host World Championships as well as lead in regional and qualifying events. In Australia they hold qualifiers in a number of states as well as Australasian finals. Keep an eye on the events calendar for details of what’s coming up.

Australian Scooter Association

The ASA or Australasian Scooter Association is a regional organisation covering Australia and New Zealand. It is a not for profit organisation and aims to develop the sport throughout Australasia.

The ASA runs a series of qualifiers across the Australian and New Zealand which lead towards the Australasian Scooter Championships. Riders compete in divisions ranging from Under 7’s through to opens and pros. Membership with the ASA gets you automatically registered for your state qualifiers.
