Small concrete park with a fairly standard layout. The Marburg Skatepark is a mix between banks, transitions and street.
Marburg Skatepark Elements
Rolling in from the street there’s a flat square rail. Also in the middle is a fun box with a high almost manny pad style ledge. Next to that is a tabletop launch with flat down rail.
On one end there’s a 3 foot half pipe with metal coping. This lips out to wide flat banks on either side. The decks both sides are fairly wide also. At the other end of the park there’s another big deck. Beneath it there is a wide flat blank next to a 3 foot quarter pipe with coming. These are joined in a way that creates a lip out.
What’s Around
There are a few seats and shelters around the skate park. There’s also a playground, amenities and sporting fields. There is a car park which can be accessed via M Verrenkamp Rd. The entrance is just as you turn in off Edmond St. You’ll find shops back towards the main centre of town.
