Jindalee Skatepark

Jindalee Skatepark is popular with Scooter riders in Brisbane. It’s only about 12 kilometres south of Brisbane and easy enough to get there by Bus. If coming by car take the Sinnamon Rd exit off the Centenary Highway after the bridge. Unfortunately this park isn’t really anywhere near the trains.

Jindalee Skatepark Best Features

In the centre of the park is a funbox with two height levels. This is good to approach from the large concrete ramp and getup speed for a tail whip, 180 or a 360 for example. Over in the other basketball court side of the skate park, there’s a number of ledges to work with, good for getting smith grinds down.

This ajoins the other main section into the half bowl. The bowl is about four to five foot high. You can go back and forth like a half pipe and the metal coping is nice to grind. Finally there’s a metal half pipe that is approximately six foot high and looks to be about 12-14 foot wide. Good for getting some tricks down at a decent height. Just be careful if it’s rained. The odd slippery patch can hurt you.

What’s Nearby

You’ve got the basics there with toilets and water fountain next to the park.  There’s no lighting at this park though. This park is near the Jindalee DFO so there’s a few shops to grab a drink at. A few hundred metres further you can head for lunch at Subway or MdDonalds.
