Collingwood Park Skatepark

This is a fun spot to ride scooters with a range of different elements from transition through to street. The Collingwood Park Skatepark has a large new section alongside an 80’s bowl.

Collingwood Park Skatepark Elements

Starting with the 80’s bowl, this is now off to one side and stands alone. It’s your typical 2ft high 3 sided square bowl without any coping. It’s a good spot for the little ones to get used to riding their scooters.

At the back of the skate park there’s a wide bank with a small hip and a large deck. On top of the bank there’s a ledge with coping. In front of the bank there’s a small 3 foot spine ramp that curves out. Next to the spine there’s a tabletop launch pad with a flat down rail. There’s a ledge off to one side. Next to that there’s a 4ft quarter pipe launch ramp with coping. A 6 foot table top meets up with a large flat bank on the other side. This section is for serious air. Stepping up to the deck there’s one side of a 5 foot halfpipe with metal coping.

On the other side of the half pipe there is a curved quarter that tapers down to 4ft with metal coping. This meets up with a flat bank that drops down to a 3 foot quarter pipe. Between the spine and this quarter you can ride this as a mini ramp. On top of the deck there’s a few hubbas and a 3 stair.

What’s Around

This is a part of a much larger park that has all the extras you’d expect. There’s water, amenities, playground, basketball court, BBQ, seats and shelters, and more. There’s off street parking in the car park. Just up the road is a major shopping centre so there’s plenty of shops and public transport.
