Caloundra Skatepark

The Caloundra Skatepark is out the back of the Caloundra Aquatic Lifestyle Centre, on Central Park Road. It’s actually fenced off so you need to enter via the Aquatic Centre. A fair section of the park is covered somewhat by shade sails, and that would be handy in summer for sure.

Caloundra Skatepark Features

There’s a whole series of open bowls, more clover shaped at the far end. Near the entry there’s a sloped ledges with metal caps either side of a sloped. This is on the bank that leads out to the centre of the park. Apart from that, it’s bowls, bowls and more bowls! They vary in heights and transitions of between 4–7 foot, and there’s also a shallow bowl to get your tricks down on. If you like to grind and get airs over spines this is a great spot. The bowls join and form 4 different spines so there’s plenty of fun to be had. It’s an older park, and the cracks in the concrete are really starting to show but still rolls pretty nicely.
